*All guidelines for horsepower ratings are represented as horsepower at the crankshaft on gasoline. This is an industry standard measurement that removes drivetrain losses and other unknown implications that can lead to incorrect estimation of HP when measured at the wheels.

KPM Fuel Systems are proud to release the highest level of direct fit fuel systems for the Durango SRT Hellcat 2023 onwards.

With the Durango Hellcat being tuned to amazing power levels comes the need for a high-performance fuel system.

KPM has met this need with a direct replacement high performance fuel system that will perfectly support power levels from standard all the way to 2700 hp.

This fuel system is designed to be used with the OE primary fuel pump module. Our secondary 1500HP fuel pump module and PWM then steps it up to our 2700 hp level. This kit also comes with larger fuel lines to ensure maximum flow is maintained all the way to the engine.

No other Durango fuel module in the world supports as much power with the efficiency, functionality, and fuel delivery of the KPM 2700 hp fuel systems!

Advantages and Features

KPM 2700 hp Fuel Module System

The KPM 2700 hp Fuel Module System is engineered, utilizing the standard OE Fuel module while adding a secondary KPM 1500 hp Fuel Module.

The factory module remains as the primary module (2 pumps) while the KPM 1500 hp acts as the secondary module with 2x Bosch Racing fuel pumps, all housed in an OEM style high flow fuel module and distribution manifold. The factory modules remains in the original location while the KPM secondary fuel module cleverly utilizes the OE position that housed the secondary sender and pick up assembly. The KPM fuel module fits into this same position and incorporates the pick up and sender into its design.

The development and testing of the KPM module was focused on supplying guaranteed delivery of cool dense fuel to support 2700 hp at the engine on pump fuel. Our objective was a reliable, solid fuel delivery to a 2700 hp engine in the extremes of racing as well as everyday road driving.

To achieve these objectives, our KPM Fuel System engineer designed and incorporated a six Venturi pump and refill valve system designed to scavenge fuel from both sides of the Trackhawk fuel tank and permanently keep the fuel canisters full. We also incorporated a PWM system to control the fuel pump operation and deliver fuel precisely as needed.

This works in conjunction with the factory fuel module, retaining it as the primary fuel source.

This means that you have the best of both worlds and can run the KPM fuel module at any fuel level safely under normal road conditions, or the extremes of racing without surge or fuel starvation.

Regardless, when you go racing at the circuit or drags and under full load applications, KPM always advise maintaining sufficient fuel levels in the tank as an extra precaution to further reduce any possibility and risk of surge or fuel starvation.

The fuel pumps are 100% gasoline, ethanol and methanol compatible and able to deliver massive amounts of cool, dense fuel at standard vehicle voltages.

This equates to optimum tuning and power levels up to 2700 hp (flywheel rated on 94 octane fuel).

Cooler Fuel

Less fuel pump current = less heat = cooler fuel = more power

Supplying fuel to support 2700 hp and beyond requires four high flow fuel pumps, housed in two in-tank fuel modules. The drawback to this scenario is that two or more fuel pumps can generate quite a lot of fuel pump current meaning increased heat. This transfer of heat needs to go somewhere and therefore, heats the fuel in the tank.

This is generally not a concern however, if the vehicle is idling or being driven for long periods with a low level of fuel in the tank, the fuel may start to reach a point of losing its full energy potential or start vaporizing in the pumps or fuel lines. This can cause long cranking times and hard re-starts. In the worst cases, the fuel pumps will start to cavitate, lose pressure and not supply fuel as intended.

The KPM PWM controller is pre-programmed to monitor your vehicle fuel pressure across all engine loads which in turn allows the controller to calculate the required level of electrical current to your fuel pumps. This in turn delivers the correct amount of fuel to your engine as required in all conditions.

Cooler fuel increases your performance.

KPM PWM Fuel Module Controller

KPM Fuel Systems have designed a PWM Fuel Module Controller that can electronically run the primary factory fuel module and the secondary KPM 1500 hp Fuel Module in any combination.

Its main purpose is to control the supply of fuel flow in accordance with the engine power and fuel demand. It does this by electronically controlling the amount of current supplied to the fuel pumps.

The KPM PWM Fuel Module Controller is supplied pre-programmed to run only one, or both modules together depending on power and fuel demand.

  • Primary Module (OE factory module) runs continuously
  • Secondary Module (KPM1500) is turned on only with power/fuel demand

Both modules, primary and secondary, will always only run at a desired current that is determined by the power/fuel demand. This ensures cooler fuel and accurate supply.

Vehicle Model Fitment

Vehicles Factory Fuel System Control Module (FSCM)
Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat (2023 onwards)

Although the factory fuel system runs one large amperage fuel module (approx 30-36 amps), the OE FSCM Fuel Module Controller is designed to electronically control this amperage fuel module and no more.

The KPM 2700 hp Fuel System runs four fuel pumps at approx. 16-18 amps each. This is a total of 64-72 amps. You can see that the factory FSCM cannot support the amperage of the extra pump.

The KPM PWM Fuel Module Controller is programmed and connected to run in conjunction with your factory FSCM. Wiring is supplied that allows your vehicle’s factory system to work perfectly with the KPM PWM system therefore, being able to cope with the extra amperage required. The fuel pressure is then used to calculate the correct current required to run the pumps accordingly.

Fully Modular and Upgradable

There may be a time when you need to replace the factory OE primary fuel module on your 2700 hp Fuel System.

KPM Fuel Systems has you covered.

KPM Fuel System engineers have done all the design work to offer a direct fit KPM1500 primary fuel module replacement ensuring your fuel system fits and works perfectly. No guess work! Fit and forget!
